Roy Disney and his Save Disney advocacy in 2003 and 2004 are a great example of strategic and crisis communications in action. My role in the Save Disney advocacy was as the developer of the strategy behind the digital and many of the grassroots initiatives.
In this first video, we’ll set the stage for SaveDisney through the events that led up to Roy’s resignation from Disney’s Board of Directors. We’ll also share some anecdotes about Roy, because it’s impossible to understand the way SaveDisney worked until you understand Roy.
